I recently finished painting a bar cabinet and wonder if there is anything I should apply after the paint to make it more durable. Thanks.

Any time paint is used in a high abuse area, I always suggest using an exterior enamel - it's more durable. If this is what you used, you'd be gilding the lily (so to speak) by adding anything else.

If you used something else, or still want some added protection, use Minwax polycrylic. It's a clear gloss finish that can be applied over painted surfaces (read the can for instructions) and is a supr durable finish.
