I have refinished my dining table top 2x's - the last I used a polyurethane gel and put 4 coats on it. When we use place mats with warm plates - it leaves a hazy residue on table. PLEASE what product can I use that will resist heat?

Sheri:
Minwax polycrylic is a super tough, clear finish. The literature says it can be applied over most finishes. Check the can label to see if it can be used over polyurethane.
The only other solution I can think of is to strip the piece (at least the top) and use standard varnish.
Check with the manufacturer of the poly you used. It shouldn't blush.
