I just discovered a lot of condensation all over the walls and ceiling of our laundry alcove. The dryer has been running for about an hour. I assume it is because the dryer isn't properly vented?? What type of fixit person should I call?
Thanks in advance!

Check the lint filter first. Then pull the dryer away from the wall and disconnect the vent pipe. May be that it is plugged up at the exit of the dryer. Then check where it exits the house to make sure the flappers are opening. Do these things before calling and paying someone to do the simple things. Good luck.

I did notice that the lint trap had quite a bit of lint in it! The unit is stacked and pushed up against the wall w/ built in shelves so I'm hoping that the lint thing was the problem (we just moved in here a couple of months ago and are still figuring things out). I really appreciate your reply!

It turned out that the vent tube had separated from the pipe as well! (turns out the shelves I mentioned before are not built in) I guess I just need a bit of duct tape. Thanks again majakdragon!!!
