DCFMO,
Welcome to DoItYourself.com and the Plumbing forum.
Don't have an exact "Cubic Feet per Month" number for you, but slightly more than virtually none. When my wife and I went to Alaska last summer, I set the WH to 'Vacation' for 2 weeks. The gas bill dropped from $15 to just over $8 for that month. (The WH is the only gas appliance we have operating in the summer.) So, if $15 heats the water for a month when we are here, then it's about $7.50 for 2 weeks we were here, leaving a little less than a dollar for just the pilot to run in the 2 weeks we were gone.
