Well the smell from our heat pump is gone but now the themostat reads 78 and is set on 63 degrees. Its been running for several hours since installed. We decided to turn off the heat just to cool down the house for now. I will be calling the heating company in the morning maybe they forgot to do something when they put the new heat pump in today. HMMM

If it dont go off at the tstat .Just turn it off at the breakers.
Dont do anything to it dont mess with it or they will say you did .

They are suppose to call us back tonight because the blower keeps running and even when we turn off the heat it still runs also.
Just to let you know when they called back the guy said something is not right and they will send someone out tomorrow to check things out. I am glad these things come with warrenty.....
