We had our tank pumped a year ago, but hve continued to have issues. Over the long weekend, we had some more issues because of excess rain, and got our septic tank pumped again. While I had it open I noticed it was not level. When I measured the tank drop 3 inches from the inlet side to the discharge side (two stage tank). From there the discharge pipe rises 2 and a half inces in six feet. I didn't measure any farther than that. Clearly the discharge side of my septic tank is at a low point.
Do I need to worry about this? Is it possible that this is causing me lots of septic system like trouble even though it is all cleaned out - i.e. couple days after the tank is emptied, we will have slow drains.
Thanks for any help.
Mike
