I am kind of confused about where to start with wiring of Recessed lighting.
I have a switch, that is connected to an outlet.
Now I understand that i have to use the connection that goes to the outlet, but where do i 'hook into' it?
do i hook into it at the switch? or do i hook into it at the outlet?

How to do this depends on these factors: How it is wired now. Open up the switch box and tell us everything you see. Then open up the receptacle box and tell us everything you see there. There are multiple ways this might be wired, and we need to figure out which one you have. Whether or not you want the receptacle to be switched or unswitched after you're finished. Please specify. Whether it is easier to fish a new cable to the switch box or to the receptacle box. Please specify.

Thanks, i can't get to it tonight, but hopefully on tuesday night i'll be able to give you more info about the switch and receptacle.
I do want the receptacle to be unswitched afterwards, so that the switch only goes to the lights.
I would think it would be easier to fish a cable to the switch just because it is higher up on the wall. However the receptical is in the middle of the wall in the room, so that might make it easier to go to that.
Since it is a condo, i don't know how much room i have to work with in the ceiling. I haven't cut a hole yet to find out. If possible i would like to keep my radient heating, but if i can't no big deal.
