I am working on a small Ditch Witch trencher (M/N 1010) for a friend. I have the engine information but need to know what type of hydraulic fluid to put in the hyd. pump reservoir and what type of gear oil to add to the transfer case for the chain drive. Obviously, access to an owners manual would be nice. Thanks.

You can call a local rental center that rents DitchWitches or a store that sells and repairs them. They will be more than willing to tell you which fluid is recommended.

I don't have the info you need, but I'm sure a search online for ditchwitch dealers would get you some phone#s to call and ask. Maybe one in your hometown.
