Decorating and Design - what color doors?

We are painting our living room paneling a dark cranberry with a light trim, what color should the closet and bedroom doors be painted? The same color as the light which the door frame is painted or the cranberry?

Painting the doors the same color as the walls with trim a completely different color is out as far as I am concerned. I know someone will find a reason to do it the other way but it will look like crap if you ask me. It is only paint if you don't like it you can always change it. I can only tell you what I think would look better, you have to do what you like. Again it is only paint.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to color schemes. This is a personal choice. To see what your choices look like before the actual application, make a sample board. Paint the outside of the sample board the wall color. Next add a band of the trim color. Then add the wall color again. This will simulate the look of the door with the wall and trim around it. You can do different combinations to find out what you like.

i think the doors should be the same as the trim.

i also like for all the trim & doors to be treated (painted or stained) the same throughout the house. will this "light" trim work in every room of the house?
