Folks, looking for some do-it-yourself information on how to install a real, field stone veneer wall. I had my basement redone by a pro and have a space left for a wine closet. House has a bunch of field stone pieces, including the front porch and fireplace. In the wine closet, which is an older part of the basement, There is a 3.5 foot crawl space on two sides in an L shape. The floor will be tiled and on top of the crawl space, which is about 2.5 foot deep, I’m going to install wine racks/boxes. I’d like to veneer the front of the two walls of the L shaped crawl space with real river/field stone to match the other part of my house.

Have not done anything like this before, but looks doable by someone that is handy.

Anyone have information to help me get started?
