I had track lighting installed a year ago and have had no problems until today. The entire array of lights has started to turn on and off. Could there be a problem with the low voltage transformer? I believe my system has a transformer that converts 110 AC to 12V DC to power the lights. What could be causing this problem? All the other conventional lights and electrical circuits in the house are working fine.

Thanks!

Chuck

Possibly a thermal overload protect. Do you have the correct wattage bulbs installed? Does it shut off when it heats up, then turn back on after it cools back down, and repeat all over again?
