We are in the process of sealing the concrete floor in our living room that we have just stained. The sealant has been on there for about 12 hours and there are spots that did not dry clear like they were supposed to do. They are a milky white color. What have we done wrong? Please help.

Was the stain allowed to fully dry? Anything in the instructions that you may have skipped? Some clear finishes will dry white if they applied too thickly.

I think you may be right. The first coat of sealer we were told to apply with a roller. It looked fine. The second coat we were told to apply with a "lamb's wool" brush. It went on much thicker. That's when the problems came up.
