I'm in the process of putting in blinds into my 2 upstairs bedrooms. I'm thinking of going with double or triple honeycomb cellular blinds to help insulate a little, the cold winters and hot summers here in upstate NY cause my upstairs to get hot in the summer and cold in the winter.
I think the look of an inside mount would look much cleaner but am a little concerned if I replace the windows in a few years. I currently have about 1.5" depth. There are currently double-pane vinyl windows in these 2 rooms. I'm concerned because if I get blinds measured to fit in the window and I end up replacing the windows at some point, will I potentially not be able to use the blinds?
