I have a Merc 175 O/B. Tuned up in May, ran summer fine. Stored with 3/4 tank gas. Four months later, upon start up, will not get over 3200 rpms. Sluggish.

I put in a fuel stabilizer with the remainder of old gas. Ran it out. Now it is on empty, trying to figure out what to do.

Fuel bulb replaced in May. Someone suggested carb cleaner.

Suggestions?

Id say for sure carb cleaner here lots of it. Take it all apart . Check tank for any rust. clean all lines the fuel lines New fuil filter. 3/4 tank 4 months did you see any water in it? I like to run the O/B dry when not going to use for a while.
