So I demo'd my old shower to leave a 3' X 5' flat floor.
I installed a new drain, blocked in the surround and built a 12" dam. I called a hot mopper who came and did an excellent job.
My problem is, what do I do now? I was planning on floating a floor on top of the hot mop, then tiling.
The problem is, how do I tile the 12" dam if I cannot nail backerboard onto the hot mop?
Any and all info would be much appreciated. The wife's on my case to finish the bathroom before Xmas.
Cheers,
Steve
