Hi,

I have a Shower head that is dripping water. Do I need to replace the head?? The Head is 3 yrs old. If I don't need to replace the head, what can I do to stop the leak??

Thanks,

greenda4

It's actually the faucet that is leaking through the showerhead. There's nothing wrong with the showerhead.
What type of faucet does your shower have? Dual handle? Single handle?
It may be nothing more than a washer on the end of a valve stem.

Thanks for the reply Mike. I have a single handle Price Pfister set. The water is coming down from the shower head, not the tub spout.

Thanks,

The water has to be flowing to come out of either the spout or the shower head. Thats what Mike is saying. You will have to repair or replace the cartridge in the faucet handle. Good luck.
