Want to add air to pressurize lines....

Hello All,
Just about ready to connect the pipes from the 2nd floor addition to the main heating system in the basement.
So I would like to pressurize the lines to check for leaks before connecting to hot water system.
Is this a good Idea or not?
Is 75 psi ok ?

The P/R valve goes off at 30 psi. Does that tell you anything.

I was thinking of my domestic water system which is 40 to 60 psi, I forgot that the hot water system is different presure.
