We are having problems with our boiler and need to purchase
a new system ASAP. The local sales rep suggested to go with
Munchkin high efficiency boiler (direct vent). we have
natural gas and hot water base board system. I never heard
of Munchkin systems before. I was wondering if it is any good
and the price of the unit plus installation is around 6k (oouch)...
He claims it is worth it in the long run. My question is :
* is this product any good compare to other manufactures
http://www.spnwsupply.com/L3-products/boilers1/munchkinGas.html
* is the cost of average boiler+ installation 6k or more ?
* I have currently chimney but we are thinking to get rid of it
and go with direct vent to save some more floor space . Is it
a good idea or these direct vent boilers tend to break
faster than standard boilers which use chimney?
Thanks so much for your help.
Happy xks giving !
