I HAVE A FRIGIDAIRE ELECTRIC DRYER MODEL # FDEB34RGS1. TWO DAYS AGO I USED IT AND IT STARTED AND DRIED WITH NO PROBLEM. BUT NOW WHEN I TRY TO START IT ALL IT DOES IS MAKE A HUMMING SOUND WHEN I TURN THE START KNOB. SOMEONE TOLD ME THAT IT COULD BE THE THERMAL FUSE MY QUESTION IS WHERE IS IT AND HOW DO I TELL IF IT IS BAD? CAN YOU HELP PLEASE? :confused:

Is the humming sound coming from the motor. Is it possible the belt is broken and the humming is the motor running off load? If not, then possibly the start capacitor is blown. If the thermal fuse is gone there's usually no sound at all.
