We just moved to CA and bought our first $300K something condo, crazy I know. My husband wants to invest our money in top of the line things, but I don't think those investments would be worth it. Although property in CA appreciates at incredible rates, I don't agree that putting in top of the line additions would increase the value of our condo as much as he thinks it would. After all, someone isn't going to purchase an expensive condo if it's not in the top of all neighborhoods right? :rolleyes:
How much should we invest? Hard wood floors? New counter tops?

i would contact a real estate agent in your area. she'd have the best advice for you, if you're just wanting to upgrade it & sell it.
