I have a single stage simplicity snow blower with a tecumseh 4hp motor. Starts great, but quits when it gets hot. Runs smooth when it runs. Let it cool and it starts right up. Please help!

Is the oil level where it should be? Could also be a bad bearing that ties up when it gets warm. Good luck.

Hello bobntan!
Sounds an awful lot like a bad coil. When it quits, pull the plug and see if you are getting spark. If not, remove the kill wire to the coil. If still no spark, then the coil is bad. If you do have spark, try loosening the gas cap. If the cap vent is bad, it could develop a vacuum in the tank.
