I have "ceiling hugger" fan and I would like to make it remote control. The receiver is to big. How do I make it fit? Its a Harbor Breeze if that matters. Can I mount it outside of the electrical box? Let me know please. thanks

The ones that I have installed mounted in the dome cover for the fan, not the actual electric box that the fan hangs from. It is still a pain to arrange the wires to close the dome cover.
