I removed a sink in my basement, my kitchen sink has been backing up since I took the one out of the basement. Where the sink was located in the basement there is a pipe extending from the main drain that the sink was attached to. I need to know what I can do to stop the backing up. Thanks for you help.

Clean out the line, then cap it if your not going to reconnect it.
