I purchased have a HW260A flow through Humidifier to replace a drum style. The old humidifier was installed on the return side with a bypass to the conditioned side. My question is, can I install the new one in its place to avoid cutting a new hole and patching the exisiting hole. The installation illustrations look exactly the same but it appears to put the unit on the conditioned side and the bypass to the return. Does it matter.
