I would like to remove 2 course of brick in an overhead porch location.Can I safely remove these courses without the remaining structure coming down?
A new lentil will be immediately replaced !

If you remove the suport for the veneer, the remainder may well shift or fall. It would brace the part to be left prior to removing its support.
