I need some help, got my water tested at the local Sears
Iron: 2 ppm
PH Level: 7 (neatrual)
Hardness: 7 gpg
What is the ideal setting to set on the water softner system? (IE: ?? grains)
It shows on average 90 to 100 gals a day

Compensated hardness would be (4*2) + 7 = 17 gpg. To set your salt dose you need to know how much resin is in the resin tank and what type it is.
