I would like to know what I could put where this seem is. What ever was there before is coming out and lost in parts. Sometimes I get standing water there as side walk has a slight tilt toward the house. Can anyone tell me what I can use until I can get the sidewalk fixed or redone? Thank You Ginnie

It is quite unclear what you plan to do, where, and why.

You can fill an open expansion joint with an elastomeric caulk material available from the hd and lowes places.
