I need to prep my asbestos tile floors for laminate installation. They are not flat: there are crowns and dips from the house settling (it's 100 years old). I know I need to prep them, but should I use SLC all over the gigantic space, or cement patching in the low spots, or both, or what? I can't get a straight answer from anyone! One note: I don't care about these floors lasting for forever, I just want them to look/sound OK for the next five to seven years. Basically, I'm looking for the bare minimum amount of work here! In a hurry, thanks!
