I recently installed a kitchen counter with terrazzo tile and the contractor sealed it with a semi-gloss sealer to help enhance the color of the stone, however, over just a short amount of time the surface has become sticky and I am unable to clean the tile to remove the stickiness other than scrubbing it with Bar Keeper's Friend which seems to be removing the sealer. Is it a good idea to continue to scrub the entire surface in order to remove the sealer and re-seal it or is there another product that I should use? Also, is there a particular type of sealer that I should use for the counter or anything (i.e., ingredient-wise) I should definitely stay away from?
