Hi Again,
I would like to get better aquainted with my oil furnace. First a little history: THe house was built as a forced air oil fired system and was converted to a baseboard. I think the whole upstairs is 1 continuous loop. I am still looking for a bleeder valve. After staring at it for a few minutes each day I think I know what each pipe does/goes and a few of the valves, some valves I have no idea. The boiler is a Peerless but there are two differnet model stickers on it. It was installed in '89. The burner is a Riello 40 F5. The house was rented before I bought it and I am sure no one did anything to anything in the house. I do have someone coming to clean it on Jan '29 05 (yep '05)
So, is there anyting I can do or is there a website I can go to with some basics? Cleaning, changing nozzles, filters, fans, flues, bleeded the pump/boiler. I am nervous about breaking something I have nooooo money for a burner or anything else for that matter.
Thank you for your help!
Bill
