We just moved into a house that has an old Peerless boiler (model Number G-560-W-S). I have never used a system like this before. I guess I am just wondering where I can go to learn about the operation of this boiler. I have turned it on, but I hear bubbling in the pipes which I know is air, but I am not sure how to get the air out. Once I let the air out, how much water should I let back into the system. Do I need to drain this system? Do I need to clean anything out? If anyone could help or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate the help or pointers.

Welcome to the DIY Forum. I think you could learn most of what you need to know by just reading some of the previous posts in this forum, particulary about bleeding radiators.
If after reading several posts, you still have a question, please post back.

When you hear bubbling yes you should bleed it . Check all the bleeder you have there and vent each one tillyou get water out of them. The boiler should have a auto fill on it to let water back in for you .Should be right by the Prv.
Boiler should be about 15lpsi. Temp on about 160o off 180o. hope this get you started.
