I have a oil hot water furnace.. was working fine until a few days ok. when i turn on the thermostat all i hear is a clicking sound. the circulator isnt pumping any water. not vibrating.. the burner wont fire up on its on im assuming because theres no water.. Pci is 0. When i hit the reset button it gets oil but doesnt spark.. im after changing the filter.. the nozzle and the transformer. but now problems with the circulators. Any ideas or tips would be great thanks.

Do you use this boiler for domestic hot water? If so, do you have hot water? If not, what water temperature control (aquastat) does your boiler have on it? We need to narrow down the problems to get to the bottom of this situation.

Im pretty new to this whole fix it myself thing lol.. i cant seem to find the aquastat. the only gauge i see is the one on the front of the furnace that reads the pressure and the temp... Maybe im not lookin in the right spot but i looked all arounf the circulator and cant see anything. So maybe u could tell me where i could find it. God knows i might not even have one lol.. And no my hot water isnt on my furance thank god. Its baseboard heaters i have. The circulator is an armstrong. anything that may help me please give me some things to try. Thanks

If that gauge im looking at is the right one the temp is all the way down.. looks to be 20c and the pci is on 0. Im just confused about the whole thing and as the days go by the colder it gets lol. thanks

I think you should call a service company and watch what they do. Ask as many questions as you can and when they are finished, you should have everything working and know how things operate. From then on, you may be able to keep things working.
