Hi,reading all these posts are helpfull since it is nice to know i am not the only one figuring their boiler out.
I have a max shut off honeywell switch set for 210 deg to i guess shut down the boiler before it overloads. The only other switch is also a honeywell for kicking in the circ pump, and it is set at 90.I see suggestions here to set the temperature at 160 to 180.As idiotic as this sounds is that the circ pump switch i should crank up?or does every one have actual temperature controls?
thanks
Old dorad bolier, once coal, once oil,now set up with a gas conversion burner, one zone, and lines to and from each radiator.Story and a half house PSI 12 idle 16 ish while hot.
There is a thermometer in the front of the boiler attached to no wiring but since cold it reads nothing i am guessing that it is not accurate.
