Hi!! I am no electrician by any means but have been able to install an in- wall air conditioner and wire it in.
I have baseboard heaters, electric of course. But my bathroom one won't work but I am unsure of how to check whether the thermostat is faulty or the heater itself. I want to make sure I am buying the right part as they can be quite expensive.
I would appreciate any help.
Thanks very much, Mark

Dont know what the power is to them 220V or 110V. but Id say you need a volt meter to first see if you have power to the tstat and then see if you have power out to the baseboard or is it in the baseboard. This is the only way to go if you dont want to just buy parts. some meters cost only $5 bucks

I'm also not sure of the power but I will find out.
I take it that the thermostat and heater must be wired together but wondered what the procedure would be to check the thermostat. I might be a bit slow on wiring but would I need the heating on to check?
Thanks, Mark
