I have to re-roof where there is an evaporative cooler and an air conditioner mounted on the roof. I'm not sure how the evap cooler is mounted, but the air conditioner is mounted on angle iron brackets. Obviously, the new roofing needs to go UNDER each of these units. Each of the units could be un-installed but that's a LOT of work. Must be some easier way to lift these up enough to get the new roofing under these units. Anyone know how this is commonly done??

Do the angle iron brackets go through the existing roofing material? Not sure if you are working on a house or building. Most of the time if legs are on a support for equipment, there are pitch pockets that are like boxes surrounding the legs so that new roofing does not require removal of the legs. Just roof around the boxes. Post back with more info. Thanks.

Where are you with a swamp cool and a AC?. like dragon said just refill the pitch pots on the legs of the AC on the cooler dont it blow down in to whatever. Could be you will have to reflash around it .If its not up off the roof.

Like said INFO INFO helps a lot for us to help you.

It would also help to know what type of roofing you are installing.

Tile, Shingle, Single Ply or Metal.
