(Cleaning) Cloth Blinds

I need to clean them, they are cloth honeycomb and I want to know if I can do this at home, and if so.........how?

Honeycomb shades may be vacuumed with the brush attachment. You may treat spots or stains with warm, not hot, water but it is not recommended to do this often as it may cause discoloration. You may also spot clean with a mild detergent. Be careful not to rub the material to hard to roughen the fabric.

Thanks Twelvepole. I'll give it a shot. I'd like to take them down and give them a thorough cleaning, but was afraid they might fall apart, they are a little old. I'll try the vacuum first.
