Hi, Iam having a problem with my oil burner , I have a seperate hot water heater and every time it goes on while the boiler is running the flame from the boiler would go out as if it ws starving for fule. I would have to wait till the hot water heater shuts then hit the restart on the boiler to fire it up again. Please help Thank you :) :)

If you have 2 pipes between the tank and the burners, you probably have a clogged oil filter. If you only have one pipe, there is a major restriction somewhere but without knowing how the oil lines are run it will be tough to help further.

The line from the tank goes into the filter from their one line goes to the water heater and another line goes to the boiler. This has been going on now for a few days. Thanks

Unless the filter is plugged solid, that sounds odd. The first thing to do is change the oil filter. Then bleed both pumps and see what you get. You should get a strong stream of foam free oil. Let us know the outcome and the condition of the filter if you change it yourself.
