I replaced one of my 6 B&G 100 pumps with a Taco 007.... all went really well and the price was right too. I noticed that some of the other B&G pumps I have are mounted in a way that I may have to rotate the flanges 45 degrees or so to make clearance for a Taco 007 to fit. Whats the best way to do this to the flanges.... perhaps a pipe wrench?? Hopefullly it wont leak at the flange threads then.

If the flanges are screwed on, just put 2 bolts through the opposite holes and take a piece of pipe and use it for a lever to turn the flange. Tighten in the clockwise direction to avoid leaks. Good luck.
If for some reason you can't possibly tighten them, remove them and reapply a good thread sealer on them. Then reassemble them.
