Any feedback on using brick pavers versus stamped concrete? We have heard mixed about each. Pavers more easily replaced, more likely to grow weeds in the cracks. Stamped concrete, difficult to repair, looks fake up close, cleaner look.

Any recommendations?

I personally prefer brick/concrete pavers. I think they're a lot richer looking than any type of concrete. I have a both a back patio and a front entry that I did in the 2-1/4" thick concrete pavers in "autumn blend" color; would have prefered brick, but I was on a budget.

A big advantage for me was that I could do the pavers myself. Somewhat difficult physically, but not technically difficult. Cost me about $6.00 per sq. ft. for all the materials and equipment rentals. If I had done stamped concrete (or any other type of poured concrete for that matter), I would have had to hire it out and it would have cost me a lot more.

Hope this helped.
