Touch Lamp

I (my wife) has two touch lamps that has three brightness's. They went out (the touch part) and will not light anymore. Can these lamps be converted to a switch turn on? If so;how does one do it. Where can I get the info.

Touch lamp replacement parts may be available near you. The Lowes has them in the lighting aisle near me. You may want to check.
