Hello, I am a newbie and have looked to find this answer with no luck so any help would be appreciated. I have a two story home with a seperate electric heat pump for each floor.
The problem is the upstairs heat pump blower runs too long. It heats fine but as the air begins to cool down at the end of the cycle the blower keeps running and does almost as much cooling as heating. The downstairs unit does not run as long as the up stairs when the air begins to cool so I figure there is an adjustment on the how long the blower runs at the end of the heating cycle.

Any help? Thanks!

depending on model and make, there may be dip switches on the circuit board to adjust this

what do you have?

yes the outside unit is coming on for the upstairs. Added info, I have just moved into this house this fall and the upstairs unit looks new so I don't know if this is the first winter for the unit. Maybe there is some initial setup that has not be performed or checked out?
