We would like to install bifold doors in the closets in our basement. The problem we are having is finding a proper fit. The one closet is 78 inches high, not to bad except finding a 77in door. The other is in need of serious help; it is only 72in at its lowest point. W bought doors thinking we could trim them down, forgeting the lowest point. But after looking at them I dont think it is possible. Is there any manufactuer that customs makes doors for a reasonable cost? Or any one who can pass on directions for constructing on myself? Any help is appreciated. Thankyou

As long as you doors do not have a pattern. The 77" will not require the hinge to be moved, the 72" will.
Cut the doors to length. You will find a cardboard honeycomb which you'll have to remove an 1.5" of, cleaning the glue residue from the skin. Then remove the skin from the cut-off and all the residue from the removed bottom piece of the frame. Apply glue the the inside of the skin you had kleaned and insert the removed section of frame, clamp to dry.
