I had a Petro guy come out to my house the other day, and he pointed out that there is some corrosion on the bottom of my water tank by the seal and i should keep an eye on it.
When he left i took a closer look and notice that there was water build up on the bottom seal. I wiped it off, and it came back. It's not dripping(yet), but when I wipe it off, it definitely comes back.
What can I do... Are there any quick fixes, or is it time for a new water heater...?
thanks

When a water heater tank starts leaking there is usually no recourse other than a new unit. Any "patch" would be short termed and likely to fail. The water damage it could cause would likely be more expensive than the price of the new heater. You don't say how old your present water heater is. You might check to see if the warranty is still in effect.
