Hi,
I have a Trane XV80 furnace that will not restart after the inital run. For example, when I turn the furnace on in the morning and set the t-stat at 72deg., it will work fine. But the next time the furnace kicks in, the igniter will light the gas for a few seconds then it quits. It will cycle like this anywhere from 2 to 4 times, and then just the blower will kick in and continue to run until the furnace is shut off at the t-stat. It has to be turned off at least 2 hours or more before I can turn it back on and get it to work right one time.
I have replace the igniter and tried a different t-stat. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate it.
