Just purchased a new Broyhill chair, and discovered the end of an uphostery tack protruding through the fabric on the side of the chair. Question should I try and hammer the nail back in or contact the furniture store where I bought it.My husband thinks just hammering it back in would solve the problem, but don't want to damage the fabric. Any information regarding this would be appreciated.
Thanks

i would think tapping it in would be fine, but it wouldn't hurt to call the store & tell them what you're intending to do, so they'll be aware. it's possible they'll want to come out & do it, or have another fix suggestion for you.
