we have a 1968 mobile home and i want to replace the old toilet tank.. the old one has 4 bolts and new one has 2. and how do you measure the gallons of the tank? i want it to flush like the old one. and do i just cut the two back bolts off?.. do i measure the bolt hole on the old one and then the new one? Or is there a porcilian paint that i can buy? back in the 60's they made the bathroom GREEN.. dont like green..lol..
I appreciate any help... T/Y

Your not going to install a new type of toilet tank on an old one, if you even could, the new toilets are not designed to flush like the old styles, you would see repeated flushing taken place, new toilets these days work just fine with the low flush capabilities.

No I was replaceing the whole toilet.. my problem is the old toilet has four bolts through the floor which holds it down.. and i want to replace it with a two bolted toilet.. i know i need to cut the back two bolts off.. my ? is the new one going to fit? like i said its a 68 double wide moble home in very good shape.. the past owners took very good care of this home.. i just want to take that ugly green toilet out of both bathrooms.
