I have two pices of furntiture, 1 is a black bookcase from Ikea, and the other is a faux
wood TV table that I once attempted to paint black, and now has a black woodish look to it. I would like to paint them both white to
go with my new apt. Any advice would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Sand the two pieces of furniture to remove any bad spots and to prepare it for a new finish. Remove all dust and apply a oil based quality primer following mfgs. instructions. Apply two finish coats of your choice. I prefer an oil dinish personally.
