Hi
I'd like to know what kind of paint is best to use on furniture that i would like to stencil with a design afterwards. I have a table and 2 night stands that are stripped and ready to go. This is the first time i've done this on furniture before, i have stenciled on walls though.
The table i have already attempted and was not advised very well on the paint. It seems it does not have a high enough gloss or something. I have ring marks and scuffs that i can not get off. i want to be able to wipe clean these pieces of furniture after they are complete.
I look forward to your response. Terese Sholander at terese@lightspeed.net

Terese:
Use any paint you've worked with before and had success. As a final coat, apply Min Wax Polycrylic. It's water clear finish that doesn't yellow, and super tough. It can be applied over existing finishes, and comes in a gloss finish.

Thank you so much, it sounds exactly what I'm going to need.
