HI I have a question .does anyone have one of these types of fields are they any good can you install them in cold parts of the country we have clay soil will they perform properly and what about cost Thanks

I like them but in this area none of the septic guys will install them. They are "too new" for their likes. But, they are what all the commercial buildings get for a septic field. Go figure. I like everything about them, they are a little more costly but you don't need any gravel and you can install inspection tubes anywhere you like. They also allow a smaller field than a traditional system but do the same amount of work...

I have the Infiltrator chamber system and the are very common in this part of NC. Our site, because of poor soil types, would not permit the use of a standard drain field. The chamber system reduced the size of the drain field so it was easier to find a suitable location.
Septic fields are underground and out of sight so I would go with the least expensive system that will do the job. If you have marginal soils a Soil Scientist or Engineer may be required. For my application the Infiltrator was the least expensive system that would work so it's hard to comment on the cost.
