I've just repaired a DeWalt DW505 hammerdrill and I need to re-grease the unit.
DeWalt does sell the grease - with shipping about $20.
I was wondering whether anyone had specific knowledge as to the best type of grease to use on a drill like this that I can pick up at the local home center or autoparts store.
Thanks

oscartheclimber,
Not sure what viscosity grease DeWalt recommends but if it were mine I would use automotive, EP (extreme pressure) rated grease.
Wheel bearing grease that is EP rated should do it.
